Jacaranda EGB member

It is with great joy that we announce that Liuteria Jacaranda has become a member of the EGB (European Guitar Builders) association, which brings together the best European luthiers of electric and acoustic guitars and basses. Formed in May 2013 at the impetus of several luthiers who, as early as 2012 in Montreal, had begun to formulate the idea of the usefulness of a European association, EGB is now a solid association with 70 full members representing 15 European nations.

Among them are names of absolute excellence: from Michael Spalt (founder and president) to Ruokangas, from Nik Huber to Ulrich Teuffel and Frank Deimel. Representing Italy, along with Jacaranda, Manne Guitars and the Di Donato brothers of the eponymous luthier workshop have also been admitted.

The goal of the association is naturally to disseminate, preserve, and foster the innovation and development of the culture of handmade lutherie in Europe and throughout the world, promoting sustainable development, compliance with regulations, ecological sensitivity, and professional ethics.

For us at Jacaranda, it is naturally a great honor and an even greater pleasure to have been admitted as full members of this community of European luthiers to whom we feel connected not only by our shared profession, but also by the spirit that runs through us all and which aims, beyond the quality of producing excellent musical instruments, at the enhancement and development of artisanal knowledge.
