Electric guitar and bass set-up
A set-up is not a standard calibration: it’s a bespoke suit. It depends on your touch, the genre you play, the strings you use, and, of course, your guitar, because no two are alike. That is why every adjustment starts with a question — what do you play? — and not a spec sheet.
To bring your instrument to the workshop, book an appointment during opening hours.
An instrument should feel effortless.
Every musician knows that their instrument needs regular care to perform at its best. The set-up is the most important: the complete adjustment that restores your guitar or bass to ideal conditions — yours.
Why at the luthier's
It may surprise you, but the very first setup is the most important one. An instrument coming out of a factory or a shop is not necessarily set up the way you expect, or it might even have a manufacturing defect that only an expert eye can spot. Once you have properly adjusted the instrument you have just bought, you will only need to maintain it periodically.
How we work
We do not follow a rigid protocol, but after a careful examination of each instrument, we do whatever is necessary. Our goal is to return it to its full potential, always after having discussed your specific needs with you.
