Fretboards cut with our machine built to an original design, accurate to one hundredth of a millimetre. Every fretboard that leaves the workshop is perfectly intonated — and the service is now available remotely.
For in-person drop-offs, please make an appointment during opening hours.
Precision that cannot be improvised.
A service for builders: luthiers and self-builders who want to start with a perfectly slotted fretboard without investing in dedicated equipment.
The machine
Among the first things we built in the workshop was our fretboard-cutting machine, made to our own original design. Its cutting templates are CNC-produced and ensure accuracy to one hundredth of a millimetre in the most common scale lengths. We do not cut fanned-fret fretboards.
A few numbers
Six scale lengths are available. As a guide, the first three suit electric basses and the latter ones guitars, although the 30-inch scale can be found on both. In inches and millimetres: 35”/889 mm; 34”/864 mm; 32”/813 mm; 30”/762 mm; 25.5”/648 mm; 24.75”/628 mm. Up to 24 frets.
Three steps, at a distance.
From your workbench to ours, and back again.
