Roberto Fazari got in touch with us through Tony Cordaro, with whom he serves as an instructor at the prestigious Rock Guitar Academy. Roberto was looking for someone to bring his vision to life: as a huge fan of the Les Paul, he wanted an instrument capable of replicating its warmth and power, but one that could also satisfy his prodigious, pure shredder technique with a few upgrades—ergonomics and a Floyd Rose bridge—necessary for his style.
This led to the creation of a JL 2.0 that we are very proud of: mahogany body and (set) neck, maple top, 22 frets, Fender scale length, and two Haussel pickups (Vin5 at the bridge, Vin 2 at the neck: a winning combination), with control positioning customized to his requests as a Les Paul lover.
What gratified us most was that Roberto told us he can do things on this guitar that he cannot do on any other. A statement coming from one of the most technically spectacular guitarists we have ever met, and it is a source of immense pride for us.
